We currently have opportunities for attorneys in two distinct practice areas : 1. Removal Defense / Immigration Court For attorneys who want to litigate, appear before Immigration Judges, develop case strategy, and represent clients in removal proceedings. 2. USCIS & Immigration Casework For attorneys who prefer to focus on immigration matters outside of Immigration Court , including family-based petitions, adjustment of status, humanitarian cases, USCIS interviews, and consular processing. Attorneys may be considered for the department that best matches their experience, strengths, and professional interests.

IMPORTANT LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

Candidates must be fluent in Spanish. Our attorneys communicate directly with Spanish-speaking clients and families every day. Spanish fluency is an essential requirement of this position and is not flexible. Removal Defense / Litigation Opportunities Attorneys in our Removal Defense Department may represent clients before: U.S. Immigration Courts Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Detention facilities throughout the United States Board of Immigration Appeals, when applicable USCIS when connected to removal-defense representation Responsibilities may include: Master Calendar Hearings Individual/Merits Hearings Bond hearings and detained cases Asylum Cancellation of Removal Adjustment of Status in removal proceedings Motions to Reopen, Reconsider, and Terminate Written legal advocacy and case strategy Client and witness preparation ICE advocacy Nationwide travel when representation requires it Attorneys with significant immigration court and removal-defense experience will receive strong consideration for this department. USCIS & Immigration Casework Opportunities We also have opportunities for attorneys who want to practice immigration law without regularly appearing in Immigration Court .

Matters may include:

I-485 Adjustment of Status applications Family-based petitions I-130 petitions T visas U visas Humanitarian immigration matters USCIS interviews Requests for Evidence and Notices of Intent to Deny Consular processing National Visa Center matters Waivers and related applications Case strategy, legal analysis, and preparation of complex immigration filings This department is an excellent fit for attorneys who enjoy case analysis, client counseling, legal writing, USCIS advocacy, and developing immigration strategies outside the courtroom.

Who We're Looking For Required:

J.D. from an accredited law school Active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Spanish fluency —
