Job Description
Role Description This is a full-time hybrid or remote role for the right candidate for an Insurance Defense Attorney. We have offices in King of Prussia and Bethlehem but are largely a work-from-home company . The attorney will be responsible for representing clients including major insurance companies and their insureds in various types of auto accident suits, including UM and UIM claims. The attorney will be responsible for handling claims independently from initial assignment through trial and is expected to have experience filing pleadings, taking depositions, handling discovery and motions, and litigating cases at Arbitration, and ADR. The qualified candidate will have experience handling a caseload of insurance defense files and have the ability to interact with claims professionals and comply with their reporting requirements. Salary from $110K - $175K+ depending on experience. Medical, Dental, 401K match, and a great culture of a successful firm with a modest billable hour requirement. Qualifications 1+ year(s) of experience in insurance defense in a law firm setting Expertise in defense of auto cases Skills in providing Legal Advice and conducting Legal Research Proficiency in Negotiation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Membership in good standing with the state bar association Prior experience in insurance defense is a must
