Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a 2nd•4th year Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice of our Florham Park, New Jersey office. This Associate will have the opportunity to work with clients from a variety of industries, headquartered both in the US and around the world, in both litigation and counseling capacities.
Job Requirements:
Candidates must have 2 or more years of experience in an employment-specific, defense-side role with a regional or national firm, with a focus on litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, noncompete and other employment claims. Ideal candidates will also have experience advising employers on compliance issues, such as terminations, leaves of absence, non-competes, performance management, and wage and hour issues, as well as experience drafting personnel policies and employment-related agreements. Qualified candidates will have strong academic performance in law school, strong interpersonal, writing and analytical skills, commitment to detail, and the ability, desire and initiative to "take ownership" over work and career. The expected pay range for this position is: $200,000•$235,000 per year Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
