Job Description
City Employees Associates L.L.C. (CEA) is a prominent labor-relations consulting firm based in Long Beach, California. CEA is dedicated to representing the interests of public sector employees. We provide legal counsel and advocacy to independent public employee unions and their members, ensuring their rights are protected in the workplace. As with our clients, we strive to create lasting, positive changes within the communities we serve. CEA is seeking a dedicated Labor Relations Attorney to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor law, collective bargaining, public agencies, and the representation of union members. As a Labor Relations Attorney at CEA, you will serve as the lead negotiator in collective bargaining, provide legal guidance to unions, represent them in arbitration, grievances, and other labor-relations matters, and advocate for public-sector workers to ensure their rights are upheld. The salary range is $114,000 - $144,000 annually. CEA offers medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 4% match into the 401k plan; 160 hours of vacation per year; 96 hours of paid sick leave per year; 15 holidays and one floating holiday; life insurance; parental leave; reimbursement for mileage, annual California state bar dues, and approved professional development costs; and other benefits.
