We are seeking a Land Use Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role is seeking an associate with 2-5 years of experience in land use law in New Jersey. Experience with municipalities or private organizations is required. Land Use Planning Board meetings and zoning board meetings will be required in the evenings but attorneys flex their schedules to account for the evening needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex land use and zoning matters, providing strategic legal counsel to clients involved in development projects, environmental compliance, and regulatory negotiations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including environmental law, land use regulations, and litigation, while demonstrating excellent research and drafting skills. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive legal advice on land use planning, zoning regulations, environmental compliance, and related permitting processes. Draft and review legal documents such as applications, ordinances, environmental impact statements, and negotiation agreements. Represent clients in negotiations with government agencies, community stakeholders, and other parties involved in land development projects.
