The Intake Specialist is often the first person a potential client speaks with, so we are looking for someone who understands that every caller has a story. Many people who contact our firm are dealing with an injury, accident, or difficult situation. The ability to listen patiently, show genuine compassion, and make people feel heard and comfortable is essential. You must be able to keep the conversation moving and take notes so you can put together a comprehensive summary of the call. This important summary is the first step in the firm's decision on accepting a case. What You'll Do Answer incoming calls from potential personal injury clients. Listen carefully and compassionately to callers as they explain their situation. Gather detailed information about the potential client and their claim. Ask appropriate questions while maintaining a warm and professional tone. Explain the next steps in the intake process. Follow up with potential clients when needed. Create a detailed and well-written, easy to read call summary Communicate professionally with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff. Protect confidential and sensitive client information. Provide an exceptional customer experience from the very first conversation. What We're Looking For Excellent client service skills. A naturally compassionate and empathetic personality. Someone who is a great listener and does not rush people when they are telling their story. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional, friendly, and reassuring telephone manner. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to multitask. Previous intake, legal, insurance, medical, or customer service experience is a plus.
