Job Description
This is an unpaid internship position for law students seeking externship academic credit. The expected time commitment is approximately 15-20 hours per week. A hybrid work arrangement is preferred; however, fully remote arrangements may be considered. This role is expected to model our Leadership Behaviors—Integrity & Compliance, Customer Focus, Collaboration, Courage, Team Empowerment, and Accountability & Results—in all aspects of work. The intern's responsibilities and learning opportunities will include the following: Assist with and participate in the daily activities and special projects of the Legal Department, and benefit from coaching and mentoring by seasoned in-house attorneys Attend and participate in meetings and presentations Draft memoranda regarding areas of legal interest to the intern, potentially including commercial compliance, intellectual property, and/or employment law, and receive feedback on the same Learn the commercial contract process and review contracts Develop skills with important legal tools and systems Review and become familiar with Repligen's policies and internal processes Develop relationships with organizational leaders and cross-functional stakeholders Shadow attorneys in important meetings and negotiations
