Large, regional law firm is seeking a skilled and driven Litigation Attorney to join its Detroit office . This attorney will focus on general liability and civil defense litigation and will be involved in all aspects of the litigation process in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities:

Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution Handle motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents Represent clients at court appearances, depositions, and mediations Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, status, and reporting Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and motions

Qualifications:

Must be licensed to practice law in Michigan 2+ years of civil litigation experience General liability and/or civil defense experience preferred #L123

Pay:

$110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
