Costello, Cooney & Fearon, PLLC, a preeminent Upstate New York firm, is seeking an attorney to join its established Litigation Practice Group in its Syracuse office. In addition to being admitted to practice in New York, candidates should have at least two (2) years of experience in litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general litigation areas.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions and trial preparation; Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs and other legal documents; Communicating effectively with clients, counsel and other personnel; Participating in depositions, hearings and court proceedings; Maintaining case files and managing deadlines.
