Job Description
Georgia Probate Law Group is looking for an experienced attorney to join our team. The attorney in this position will handle estate and trust litigation cases, as well as estate administration matters. As a result, the attorney candidate must have strong litigation experience to be successful. Summary Focus exclusively on practicing law. No business development required to succeed and thrive. Complex area of law that will consistently present new problems to solve Great firm culture with a collaborative, team-focused environment Competitive compensation structure with defined growth path for attorneys The attorney in this position will spend most of their time on fiduciary litigation matters. If you enjoy creative problem-solving in a complex area of the law where you are continually learning new things and seeing new factual situations, you will enjoy this position. We value flexibility and have annual billable hours requirement of 1,550 hours. Our attorneys enjoy the ability to work from home or from the office as much as they would like. Our attorneys focus on doing their best work and winning for our clients, and do not have marketing or business development responsibilities. So, if you are looking for a position where you can focus exclusively on practicing law and achieving client goals, this may be a great opportunity for you. Since we work directly for family members of the deceased, the attorney is in a position to make a real impact on real people. That said, the most difficult aspect of our practice is the inevitable emotional ups and downs our clients experience. Client emotions can run high at time, so having the ability to care about the case while emotionally detaching is an important skill for the attorney to have. We have a great team and we guard our culture. Our team members are positive and great to be around in the office. We promote collaboration and we intentionally celebrate each other and our wins. While experience in fiduciary litigation is a plus, it is not a requirement. We have a training program to help experienced civil litigators learn estate and trust litigation.
