Job Description
At our firm, a litigator gets to be a litigator. You argue contested hearings, lead mediations, take depositions, and try cases. Your team handles drafting, consultations, and intake. A paralegal whose full-time job is trial prep backs you up in court. When you walk into a hearing, you walk in ready. When you walk out, you don't walk out with 40 drafts waiting for you back at the office. Who we are We're a Dallas-based boutique family law firm that represents women going through divorce. Our team is mission-driven and structured differently than most firms. "Attorneys who do it all" is a formula for burnout. The old law firm playbook wasn't written with modern attorneys - or the women they represent - in mind, so we rewrote it. We've built a division of labor so that every role does what it's best at — and we're looking for a litigation attorney to join us in that model. What you'll do Argue contested hearings, temporary orders, and trials Lead mediations and adversarial negotiations Take depositions and prepare witnesses Review and revise motions and responses drafted by your paralegal Guide clients through testimony and court appearances with trauma-informed care What you won't do Draft premarital agreements, modifications, or final decrees Run initial consultations or intake calls Build your own exhibit binders or trial notebooks Compensation and benefits Base salary: $140,000-$200,000 depending on experience Performance bonus on collected revenue above target 10% origination on cases you bring Guaranteed minimum bonus in Year 1 Health, dental, vision, life, HSA 401(k) with 3% match after one year
