Position Summary The Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling employment, labor, and education law matters in state and federal courts, administrative agencies, arbitrations, mediations, and internal investigations. This position works closely with attorneys on all phases of litigation and client matters, from initial fact development through trial and post-hearing proceedings. The ideal candidate is a strong researcher and writer who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and can manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Litigation Support Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case initiation, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals. Prepare and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings in state and federal courts. Manage electronic filing requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Coordinate deposition logistics and prepare deposition exhibits, witness files, and summaries. Provide support during mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials. Discovery & eDiscovery Coordinate document collection, review, analysis, and production. Administer and manage eDiscovery workflows using industry-standard platforms and technologies. Maintain and organize case files and document databases. Prepare privilege logs and assist with discovery responses. Conduct quality control reviews of document productions. Prepare and respond to subpoenas, including, but not limited to Government subpoenas and third-party subpoenas. Legal Research & Writing Conduct legal, factual, and investigative research using research tools and databases. Draft correspondence, memoranda, chronologies, case timelines, fact summaries, discovery responses, and investigation reports. Perform cite-checking, Bluebook citation review, and Shepardizing/KeyCiting. Assist attorneys with multi-state legal and benchmarking research projects. Support workplace and school-related investigations including research, organizing investigative materials, and preparing interview outlines and witness summaries. Administrative & Practice Support Maintain case calendars and monitor litigation deadlines. Manage attorney files and document organization within Firm systems. Coordinate with clients, experts, vendors, courts, and opposing counsel. Assist with training and mentoring of legal support staff as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in litigation, labor and employment, education law, or a related practice area. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience managing discovery and document-intensive matters. Experience with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Nextpoint, Concordance, or similar systems. Experience with state and federal court filings, including managing electronic filing requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis Experience supporting investigations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
