Pre-Litigation Attorney

An established firm based in Los Angeles, CA with over 10 years in practice is seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney with 2-5+ years of experience in personal injury to join their team on a hybrid basis. This Attorney will manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury matters, guiding clients through the early stages of the legal process while working toward favorable resolutions prior to filing suit.

Qualifications:

2-5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation, with a focus on pre-litigation matters preferredActive membership in good standing with the California State BarStrong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to resolve matters efficiently and favorablyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage a high-volume caseload with strong organizational skills and attention to detailJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury matters from intake through resolutionEvaluate liability and damages to develop case strategy and assess settlement valueNegotiate directly with insurance adjusters and opposing parties to achieve favorable pre-litigation settlementsDraft and send demand letters, correspondence, and other legal documentsCommunicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and guide them through the pre-litigation processCollaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely collection and review of medical records and evidenceMonitor deadlines and ensure all pre-litigation activities are completed within applicable statutes of limitationsIdentify cases requiring litigation and coordinate seamless transition to the litigation team when necessaryBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, FSA, 401K, PTO
