Job Description

Welcome to The Freelance Firm! We are a national network of experienced, high
  • level, freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide remote, on
  • demand support for both short
  • term and long
  • term legal projects for our client law firms.
Due to increased demand, we are now interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Massachusetts Family Law Attorney . Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 10-20 hours per week
Attorney Responsibilities:
Handle family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and related domestic relations matters Conduct client consultations and provide legal guidance Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, settlement agreements, and other family law documents Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, trials, and other court proceedings as needed Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the legal team Manage cases from inception through resolution
Attorney Requirements:
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Massachusetts Minimum of 5+ years of Massachusetts family law experience Strong experience with divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support matters Experience with court appearances, motion practice, discovery, and case management Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills Strong communication and client management abilities Organized, detail
  • oriented, and able to manage multiple matters efficiently Self
