Senior Associate Attorney Zabel Schellenberg, PLLC New Haven, CT Job Details Full-time $130,000 - $175,000 a year 22 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Doctor of Law (JD) Bar Full Job Description Our mid-sized law firm based in New Haven, Connecticut, with a state-wide practice, is growing and seeking an associate attorney with 4+ years of experience for general practice areas including civil litigation, real estate and land use matters, municipal law, and/or employment law.
Duties shall include:
Provide legal advice and guidance on various legal matters Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters Conduct legal research and analysis Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, briefs, applications, and agreements Represent clients in court and administrative proceedings, and before boards and commissions Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas Marketing and business development
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage a high volume of work and meet deadlines Experience in the specific practice areas is preferred but not required Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change or modification at any time.
Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation:
$130,000 to $175,000 per year, depending on experience
