POSITION OVERVIEW
The Carlson Family Office is seeking a full-time Senior Associate Wealth Planner to join our Wealth Planning team. In this highly visible role, you will deliver sophisticated financial plans, investment portfolio support, trust and estate analysis, and day-to-day planning administration for multiple generations of family members. You will partner with colleagues across tax, investment, accounting, and other functions to connect information, generate thoughtful analysis, and help clients achieve their personal and financial goals. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Planning & Client SupportDevelop wealth plans, including balance sheets, cash flows, debt structure, and philanthropic giving, with the relationship manager and internal teamsSupport client meetings through materials, analysis, portfolio reviews, and follow-up on action itemsExecute financial planning strategies, forecasting, budgeting, and special projectsSupport estate planning reviews, insurance analysis and trust, estate, and entity administrationPortfolio ManagementMaintain client accounts and support money movement, transfers, and documentationSupport portfolio implementation, asset allocation analysis, and investment researchContribute to portfolio-related projects and recommendationsCash & Debt ManagementForecast family cash needs and support debt strategy execution with the relationship managerQUALIFICATIONS4+ years of experience in financial planning, estate planning, or personal tax planning for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and familiesBachelors degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent industry experienceJD, CFP, CFA, or CPA certificationor meaningful progress toward oneis strongly preferredSKILLS & ATTRIBUTESHandles confidential information with discretion and maintains high standards of client service, ethics, and integrityOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesCollaborative, accountable, and comfortable working independentlyClear, professional communicator with strong judgment and discretionProficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office
COMPENSATION
& BENEFITSThe projected salary range is $90,000-$120,000. Final compensation will be based on education, relevant experience, and skills. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus opportunity.
