This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing cases from inception through resolution. The firm will consider applicants with plaintiff side experience for this role. Responsibilities Defend single-plaintiff employment claims involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and related workplace issues in state and federal courts. Represent employers in proceedings before the California Civil Rights Department (CRD), EEOC, and California Labor Commission. Provide day-to-day employment law advice and counsel to clients. Prepare and respond to discovery requests. Conduct and defend depositions. Handle law and motion practice, including: Dispositive mtions Motions to compel arbitration Discovery-related motions Prepare case evaluations and litigation strategies for clients. Independently manage caseloads and practively drive matters toward resolution. Prepare for and attend mediations, including drafting persuasive mediation briefs. Attend court hearings, status conferences, and argue motions when appropriate. Participate in arbitrations and trials. Required Qualifications Active admission to practice law in the State of California Minimum 3 years of employment litigation experience. Deposition experience Discovery experience Excellent research, analytical writing, and oral advocacy skills.
