Note:
Candidates must be admitted to the Colorado Bar and have 3+ years of directly relevant technology transactions experience. Experience with data privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and technology/IP matters is highly valued, with large law firm experience preferred. Confidential Employer. Job Description Advise clients on complex commercial technology transactions and technology-driven business arrangements. Draft, review, and negotiate software licensing, SaaS, cloud services, technology development, and other commercial technology agreements. Counsel clients on data privacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data governance matters. Advise on U.S. and international privacy laws and evolving regulatory requirements. Develop and implement privacy compliance programs, policies, notices, and governance frameworks. Advise on technology issues arising in M&A, financings, and other strategic transactions. Lead negotiations and help structure innovative technology deals and commercialization strategies. Translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical, business-oriented advice. Work directly with clients and manage multiple sophisticated matters simultaneously. Collaborate with attorneys across practices to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active Colorado Bar license. 3+ years of technology transactions experience. Experience drafting and negotiating commercial technology agreements. Strong knowledge of data privacy and related technology/IP issues. Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Strong business judgment and ability to provide practical legal advice. Comfortable working directly with clients and taking ownership of matters. Large law firm experience preferred. Experience with AI governance, cybersecurity, data governance, ECVC, or data breach response is a plus.
