Life:
Prepare legal documents Examine title abstracts to determine ownership of land and property rights Analyze title documentation in accordance with applicable title standards to make title insurance insurability/risk determination Perform title clearing services and assist with title issue resolution Conduct residential closings Draft any relevant title law documents as needed under the scope of closing a particular transactional real estate law file Assist Escrow and Title team with clearance, underwriting questions and guidelines. Resolve escalations for title defects and title curative issues. Communicate with Corporate Counsel to ensure correct and current underwriting requirements and guidelines. Assist the claims team with title review to determine if errors were made during title examination and curative process. Keep current with our products/services, our industry and competitors.
