•Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Workers Comp Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of workers' compensation claims, providing expert legal guidance and representation to clients in defense matters. The position requires a strong understanding of litigation processes and the ability to navigate complex legal issues in workers' compensation law.
Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in workers' compensation claims and litigationProvide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights and obligationsPrepare and file legal documents, including pleadings and motionsConduct legal research and analysis of workers' compensation laws and regulationsNegotiate settlements on behalf of clientsAttend hearings and trials in courtCollaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategiesMaintain accurate and organized case files and documentationQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in the relevant jurisdictionMinimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation law, with a focus on defenseStrong litigation skills and experience in courtroom proceduresExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
