Workers' Compensation Attorney Location:
Lafayette, IN (Hybrid)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Workers' Compensation Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join a growing and well-established practice in Lafayette, Indiana. This is a hybrid opportunity offering strong professional growth, steady case flow, and long-term stability. The firm is open to both defense attorneys and plaintiff attorneys interested in transitioning to defense work.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters from inception through resolution Represent employers, carriers, or insured clients in hearings, depositions, and mediations Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs Provide strategic case analysis and risk assessment Maintain strong client communication and reporting
Qualifications:
2+ years of workers' compensation experience (plaintiff or defense) Licensed to practice law in Indiana (required) Illinois licensure is a plus Strong litigation, negotiation, and analytical skills Ability to manage caseload independently
