Job Description

Job Overview O'Neil Law Firm is looking for a licensed South Carolina Attorney (or an attorney currently in the process of seeking admission) to join the team as a full-time Personal Injury/Worker's Compensation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include meeting with clients, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, preparing discovery materials, assisting with trial preparation, representing clients in court hearings, and maintaining regular communication with clients to provide updates on case progress. Duties Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation. Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and contracts. Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations. Assist in the development of case strategies and provide counsel on legal matters. Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas. Qualifications Proficiency in legal research. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing individual responsibilities.
