The Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Dakota provides comfort and support to families of sick and injured children in area medical facilities. The houses are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with awake staff. Family Service Associates ensure that families are provided hospitality and support during their stay as well as handle situations that may arise during their shift.

Duties include:

Utilization of a computer to register guests as well as answer a multi-line telephone system. Checking families in and out, taking reservations, helping volunteers, giving tours, and welcoming people into the charity.

Physical duties:

General household cleaning, cleaning rooms and preparing them for new guest families, laundry, and various other duties as needed.

Available shifts include:

Mon - Friday 9-5pm Willing to fill with multiple applicants if seeking less hours or alternating shifts. Starting salary is $16.00/hour plus $1.00/hour differential for weekend shifts.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and stoop. Exceptional customer service skills are a must. Applicant will demonstrate the ability to problem solve. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
