Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of legal areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, and more. As an integral part of our firm, you will provide comprehensive legal support, conduct thorough research, draft precise legal documents, and assist in litigation processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent writing abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This paid position is designed to foster professional growth while contributing meaningfully to our clients' success. Duties Conduct extensive legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and legal opinions. Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, and memoranda with accuracy and clarity. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, negotiations, and client meetings across various practice areas including land use, tribal law, workers' compensation, personal injury, and patent law. Support case management by organizing files, maintaining detailed records, and tracking deadlines within the law office's case management system. Participate in client consultations by gathering relevant information and preparing summaries for attorney review. Collaborate with team members on complex litigation matters by conducting legal research and preparing reports. Engage in negotiations on behalf of clients when appropriate to achieve favorable outcomes. Skills Proven experience or strong familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, and patent law. Exceptional research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms to gather pertinent legal information efficiently. Strong legal drafting abilities with attention to detail in writing pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents. Excellent negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients' interests. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work standards. Proficiency in using legal administrative tools and case management software within a busy law office environment. Outstanding communication skills—both written and verbal—to articulate complex legal concepts clearly. Pay:
