High-Level Litigation Attorney Location:

Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Key Responsibilities Manage complex commercial and business litigation matters in state and federal courts. Develop litigation strategies, case theories, budgets, and resolution strategies. Draft and argue pleadings, dispositive motions, injunctions, discovery motions, and appellate briefs. Conduct and defend depositions, including corporate and expert witnesses. Handle hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Work directly with executives, business owners, boards, and in-house counsel. Analyze complex contractual, financial, employment, real estate, and business disputes. Manage discovery, including electronically stored information (ESI) and large document productions. Coordinate with co-counsel, experts, consultants, and opposing counsel. Negotiate settlements and advise clients regarding litigation risk. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Assist with appellate matters and post-trial proceedings, as appropriate. Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the growth of the firm's litigation practice. Ideal Candidate J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school. Active Tennessee bar admission; admission to federal courts is strongly preferred. 7-15+ years of significant litigation experience for a senior-level hire. Substantial first-chair or second-chair trial experience. Strong experience handling complex commercial and business disputes. Excellent legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills. Experience with contracts, business disputes, employment matters, trade secrets, real estate, or financial litigation is highly valuable. Demonstrated ability to independently manage significant matters and high-value client relationships

Pay:

$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
