Location:
This is an in-office role based in either our Austin or Houston office.Note:
For Austin candidates, HOA attorney experience is required. For Houston candidates, real estate litigation experience is required. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Texas. About Us Confidential Employer. We are a well-established Texas law firm focused on real estate, HOA, business, corporate, construction defect, and litigation matters. Our team takes a strategic, hands-on approach to client service and is known for being responsive, practical, and results-oriented. Job Description Represent clients in HOA, property owners association, real estate, and litigation matters Serve as a trusted legal advisor to assigned clients Draft, review, and amend governing documents, legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, opinions, and related legal documents Advise clients on compliance, governance, disputes, collections, and real estate-related legal issues Handle real estate litigation matters, including pleadings, discovery, hearings, negotiations, and case strategy Prepare and pursue judicial foreclosures when applicable Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, court briefing, and client guidance Attend client board meetings, member meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings as needed Supervise and work closely with legal assistants and support staff Manage deadlines, client expectations, billing requirements, and multiple active matters Qualifications Active Texas law license required Austin candidates must have HOA attorney experience Houston candidates must have real estate litigation experience 1+ year of relevant attorney experience preferred Experience with court appearances, litigation, client communication, legal drafting, and case management preferred Strong legal writing, research, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Professional, approachable, client-service mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management tools Ability to work full-time in office Why You Will Love Working Here You will join a firm with strong demand, an established reputation, and room for continued growth You will handle substantive legal work instead of being boxed into a narrow support role You will work directly with clients and play an important role in solving real estate and HOA-related legal issues You will be part of a team that values responsiveness, professionalism, and practical legal solutions You will have the opportunity to build your expertise in a strong and active Texas real estate law practiceJPC-1046
Pay:
