Oil & Gas Title Attorney Location:
Houston, TX A well-established, energy-focused law firm with deep roots in Texas oil and gas law is seeking an experienced attorney (at least a mid-level associate) to join its Houston office as an Oil & Gas Title Attorney. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with highly respected firm leadership on complex title matters for top-tier energy clients. You'll handle sophisticated oil and gas title work in a collaborative and detail-driven environment. The firm values attorneys who are technically precise, self-motivated, and capable of independently preparing high-quality opinions. The compensation structure for this Oil & Gas Attorney role is market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with generous performance-based bonuses.What We Need:
Draft original, supplemental, and division order title opinions Conduct detailed title examinations in Texas and other producing states Advise clients on mineral ownership, leasehold rights, and curative matters Collaborate with attorneys, landmen, and clients on complex title issues Stay current with Texas oil and gas law development J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar Strong understanding of Texas title and mineral law Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills Experience with drilling and division order opinions preferred What You'll Get Pay is competitive and top of the market Performance-based bonuses 401(k) with firm contribution Paid holidays and generous PTO Employee healthcare premiums paid by the firm Collaborative, professional culture with leadership and mentorship from board-certified oil and gas attorneys This is a confidential search for a highly respected energy law practice.
