In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel and representation in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic relations. You will handle a diverse caseload, conduct research, prepare legal documents, and advocate effectively in court settings. Duties Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, and adoption processes Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings Conduct legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies Prepare for and participate in court depositions, trials, and hearings with thorough trial preparation Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests through effective legal negotiation techniques Manage case files efficiently using legal case management systems and ensure compliance with procedural law requirements Communicate clearly with clients to keep them informed of case developments and legal options Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar Proven experience in family law practice with familiarity in estate planning, employment law, personal injury law, and general litigation is highly desirable Strong knowledge of procedural law, statutory research, and legal motion preparation Excellent research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for comprehensive legal analysis Demonstrated ability to draft contracts, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision Exceptional client communication skills with a focus on empathetic advocacy and clarity Experience in court depositions, trial preparation, and courtroom litigation techniques Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Join our team to champion justice for families!
