Job Description
Texas-based law firm is seeking to add a skilled and experienced Defense/Personal Injury Attorney to our team in San Antonio. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in defense and personal injury, exceptional analytical, communication, case management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment. The responsibilities of the position include factual investigations, legal research, extensive motion practice, conducting discovery, active case management, and participating in hearings in Indiana and other jurisdictions, including "first-chairing" those responsibilities based on level of ability. Some attributes of the ideal candidate include: 5+ years of experience. Strong knowledge of rules of evidence, and court rules Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional analytical and research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective legal strategies. Proven experience, ideally with a track record of successful case outcomes. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Self-starter able to manage workload efficiently and independently, with good judgment and the time management skills to prioritize responsibilities and move cases forward proactively with limited supervision.
