Job Description
We are a premier insurance coverage and litigation defense law firm, founded in 1992, seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our team in Houston, Texas.
Qualifications4-6 years of experience in insurance defense or insurance coverage (required)Licensed and in good standing with the Texas BarStrong analytical, research, and writing skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyKey ResponsibilitiesManage a full litigation docket from initial answer through jury verdictDraft pleadings, motions, and other court filingsCommunicate effectively, timely, and professionally with clientsHandle discovery processes, including drafting/responding and coordinating with clientsConduct legal research on insurance defense-related mattersPrepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and site inspectionsActively participate in all aspects of litigation managementCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience)Annual performance-based raisesYear-end discretionary bonusComprehensive benefits package, including:401(k) with matchingHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offWork DetailsBilling requirement: 1,920 hours annuallyFull-time, in-office position (with potential hybrid flexibility after initial ramp-up)
