Job Description
We are seeking a Litigation Attorney to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in civil litigation, draw up legal documents, participate in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and advise clients. Trial experience, a plus.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in court or before government agencies Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients Advise clients on business and legal transactions Negotiate settlements for legal disputes Comply with all legal standards and regulations Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law Position requires the ability to: take and defend depositions (party, witness, and expert); research and draft motions; handle hearings; draft evaluation reports; interact with a variety of experts; and bill time efficiently. Trial experience a plus. Qualifications:
5+ years of litigation experience Familiarity with various legal documents Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to build rapport with clients Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Experience in legal drafting and document preparation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay:
$74,500.00- $175,000.
