Position Overview The successful candidate will manage sophisticated commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, including strategic case development, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation. This role offers meaningful client interaction, significant courtroom exposure, and opportunities to assume increasing responsibility. Responsibilities Manage complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. Draft and argue substantive motions, briefs, and pleadings. Conduct and defend depositions. Handle written discovery and electronic discovery. Develop litigation strategy alongside experienced trial attorneys. Participate in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials. Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts. Mentor junior associates and collaborate across litigation teams. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Texas (or ability to become licensed promptly). 5-7 years of commercial litigation experience.
