CO is a rapidly growing healthcare company that helps medical practices across the United States establish and maintain compliant physician oversight and medical director relationships. We work with healthcare businesses across numerous specialties and states, creating a unique legal environment involving healthcare corporate structures, physician relationships, management organizations, and state-specific regulatory requirements. We are seeking a Texas-licensed attorney to join our team as In-House Healthcare Counsel at our Hurst, Texas office. This is an important, highly involved position within the company. The attorney will work directly with leadership, our clients, physicians, and internal teams to help structure healthcare relationships and prepare the agreements that support them. What You'll Do The In-House Healthcare Counsel will be responsible for both client-facing legal work and internal healthcare legal matters, including: Speak directly with clients regarding healthcare business structures, physician relationships, and contractual matters. Draft, review, revise, and maintain Management Services Organization (MSO) agreements . Draft and maintain Management Services Agreements (MSAs) . Draft and maintain Professional Corporation / Professional Entity (PC/PE) agreements and related documents . Prepare physician medical director and collaboration-related agreements. Develop and maintain state-specific agreement templates for clients operating throughout the United States. Research state healthcare laws and regulations affecting ownership, management, physician relationships, and medical practice structures. Assist with Corporate Practice of Medicine (CPOM) analysis and compliant MSO/PC structures. Review contracts and advise leadership regarding legal and regulatory risk. Work with clients to explain agreements and help move legal matters from initial request through execution. Coordinate with outside counsel when specialized or state-specific expertise is required. Maintain an organized legal document and template library across multiple states. Help build scalable legal processes as MedicalDirector.

Candidates should be comfortable using AI tools for legal research, document comparison, drafting assistance, issue spotting, and workflow efficiency , while independently verifying legal conclusions and maintaining appropriate confidentiality and professional judgment. You do not need to be an AI expert, but you should be interested in using technology to become a faster and more effective attorney.

Qualifications Required:

J.D. from an accredited law school. Active license and good standing with the State Bar of Texas . Strong contract drafting and legal research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Comfortable speaking directly with business owners, physicians, and healthcare clients. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a significant volume of agreements and legal matters. Ability to work full-time, in office in Hurst, Texas .

Strongly Preferred:

Healthcare law experience. Experience with MSO/MSA structures. Familiarity with Corporate Practice of Medicine laws. Experience representing medical practices, physician groups, management companies, healthcare startups, or healthcare technology companies. Experience with multi-state healthcare regulatory research. Transactional or corporate law background. Familiarity with AI-assisted legal research and drafting tools. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred, but we are also interested in exceptional transactional or corporate attorneys who are motivated to develop deep expertise in healthcare law.
