Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to safeguard organizational interests while fostering positive relationships with clients and partners. Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Prepare legal motions and court depositions; assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence and developing case strategies. Manage legal case files efficiently using case management systems; monitor deadlines and maintain meticulous documentation. Advocate effectively in court proceedings, mediations, or negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization. Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding legal risks, procedural updates, and strategic recommendations. Stay current on evolving laws and regulations pertinent to multiple practice areas to ensure organizational compliance and risk mitigation. Experience Proven experience in legal research, case management, and litigation support across various practice areas including employment law, personal injury law, contract drafting, procedural law knowledge, and trial preparation. Demonstrated ability to handle complex negotiations with clients or opposing counsel while maintaining professionalism and integrity. Prior experience working within a law office environment or corporate legal department is highly preferred. Familiarity with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw is essential for effective case analysis. Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents, motions, briefs, and correspondence are required.
