Are you ready for a leadership role in a fast-growing regional Texas law firm based in the City of New Braunfels? Qualified individuals are invited to apply now. Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced, motivated, and dynamic Senior Attorney to assist with providing supervision and guidance to our team of civil litigation associates. This pivotal role requires a seasoned attorney with over ten (10) years of comprehensive civil litigation experience, including a valid license to practice law in Texas. The ideal candidate has extensive trial experience (including first-chair experience) who is capable of overseeing complex litigation and arbitrations, implementing effective litigation strategies, and providing guidance across diverse practice areas such as construction litigation, real estate litigation, oil and gas litigation, commercial/contract litigation, and general civil litigation matters. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our firm's litigation section and to supervise and mentor junior attorneys. This role will report directly to the Firm's managing partner who Chairs our litigation section . Responsibilities Supervise and manage all aspects of litigation and arbitration matters from inception through resolution. Negotiate, draft, and review complex legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, briefs, and settlement agreements with clarity and persuasive advocacy. Supervise a team of associate attorneys and support staff, providing mentorship on case management and procedural requirements. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies across multiple practice areas. Conduct legal research and supervise associates in their research efforts. Represent the firm's clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations with professionalism and confidence. Competently handle all aspects of civil litigation and arbitration, including but not limited to written discovery, depositions, motions practice, hearings, trial work, and appeals. Collaborate with the firm's management to support business objectives. Experience Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in civil litigation and arbitration across diverse practice areas such as construction litigation, real estate litigation, premises liability, products liability, negligence, DTPA claims, contract disputes, and general commercial litigation. Valid Texas law license is mandatory. Must be in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Demonstrated proficiency in legal research and writing. Proven track record of managing complex litigation and arbitration cases from start to finish with successful outcomes. Strong negotiation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Enthusiasm for mentoring junior attorneys Demonstrated leadership experience within a fast-paced legal environment. Proficiency with legal administrative software and case management systems. Experience using CLIO is preferred.
