Contracts Attorney Tyler Technologies - 3.5 Plano, TX Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Contract law compliance support Legal negotiation Doctor of Law (JD) Bar Full Job Description Tyler Technologies is seeking a Contracts Attorney to join our legal team. The Contracts Attorney will prepare and negotiate Tyler's standard SaaS contracts, as well as certain vendor contracts for a variety of Tyler's business units. The Contracts Attorney will assist in responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs). This is a fast-paced position which offers you the ability to join a stable, growing, publicly traded company and interact with all levels of the company. As a part of Tyler's corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector. Responsibilities Work collaboratively with business leaders and other members of the legal team to: Review, draft, and negotiate SaaS, payment processing, professional services, marketing and vendor agreements. Review and prepare responses to government RFPs. Provide legal analysis of relevant laws and regulations impacting our industry. Effectively communicate directly with business stakeholders regarding legal matters. Constantly learn, improve and adapt to new industry trends and requirements. Complete other ad hoc legal assignments. Qualifications J.D. from accredited U.S. law school; licensed in good standing with a State Bar, as applicable per location. 1-4 years of general corporate or commercial contract experience as an attorney. Experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle, including proposals, administration, and close-out; experience in software licensing/legal contract terminology Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; strategic approach to problem solving Ability to work both independently and as a team member Experience in corporate law or a similar field Exceptional negotiation and communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously Familiarity with industry-specific contract regulations and standards
