This is a rare opportunity to do sophisticated litigation work without the crushing billable expectations of a traditional firm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent clients, both companies and individuals, in a wide range of employment-related disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour claims, and workplace safety issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for advocacy, exceptional research and writing skills, and a comprehensive understanding of employment law. You will play a pivotal role in managing complex litigation cases, developing legal strategies, and advocating for clients' rights with energy and professionalism. Responsibilities Lead and manage employment litigation cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, and trial preparation Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategy and ensure compliance with current laws Draft clear, persuasive legal documents such as motions, briefs, pleadings, and settlement agreements Advise clients on employment law issues, workplace policies, and dispute resolution strategies Negotiate settlements effectively to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining professional integrity Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas such as family law, labor law, and securities law to provide comprehensive legal support Maintain meticulous case files and documentation in our law office management system Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in Utah Proven litigation experience in employment law Ability to independently handle complex cases Solid proficiency in legal research Excellent negotiation skills
Pay:
$125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
