Job Description
Help build the future of corporate trust and estate solutions at one of the nation's leading RIAs. Savant Wealth Management is seeking a Director of Savant Private Trust to lead and grow our corporate trust offering while serving as a trusted advisor to colleagues, clients, and strategic partners. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced attorney who wants more than traditional legal practice. You'll combine technical expertise in estate planning and trust administration with leadership, business building, advisor education, and client engagement. You'll play a key role in shaping how Savant delivers trust solutions to high-net-worth families while helping expand an important strategic offering across our growing organization. What You'll Do As Director of Savant Private Trust, you will: Serve as the primary internal leader for Savant Private Trust and help drive the continued growth and evolution of the offering. Manage relationships with corporate trustee partners and coordinate trust administration activities. Guide the onboarding and implementation process for new trust relationships. Collaborate with financial advisors, wealth transfer professionals, clients, attorneys, accountants, and other external partners. Provide education, support, and expertise to advisors across the firm on trust and estate planning concepts. Assist with complex estate planning, trust administration, wealth transfer, and business succession matters. Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted resource for high-net-worth client situations. Identify opportunities to increase awareness, adoption, and utilization of Savant Private Trust across the organization. Support strategic planning and ongoing enhancement of Savant's trust solutions platform. Contribute to Wealth Transfer projects and client engagements as needed. What Success Looks Like In your first year, you will: Develop a thorough understanding of Savant's trust administration model and corporate trustee relationships. Establish yourself as the go-to resource for advisors seeking trust and estate expertise. Build strong partnerships with internal teams and external trustee partners. Increase awareness and utilization of Savant Private Trust throughout the organization. Help drive continued growth of the trust platform while delivering a high-quality client experience.

Northern Virginia Chicagoland Atlanta Other Savant office locations may also be considered for exceptional candidates. Hybrid work flexibility is available. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Meaningful experience working with estate planning, trusts, wealth transfer, fiduciary matters, or related legal disciplines. Experience serving high-net-worth clients and navigating complex planning situations. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build something meaningful within a growing organization. Preferred Qualifications Experience with trust administration, corporate trustee services, or fiduciary relationships. Experience in wealth management, private client services, trust companies, family offices, law firms, or related environments. Leadership, business development, or practice-building experience. CFP®, CTFA, or other relevant professional credentials. Familiarity with estate and gift tax planning, fiduciary income tax concepts, and business succession planning Our Total Rewards At Savant, we invest in our people—supporting both their well-being and long-term growth. We take a market-based approach to compensation. The expected base salary range for this role is $150,000-220,000. Actual compensation is determined on an individual basis and considers factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and market conditions. This role may also be eligible for additional incentive compensation based on responsibilities and performance.
