Job Description
Description Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Amazon Leo is seeking an exceptional Legal Counsel to lead the legal work for our international expansion of direct enterprise services and indirect partnership programs. This role will be the central legal owner for launching Leo's business services and indirect partnership programs globally, working at the intersection of product development, business strategy, and legal compliance. As the legal owner, you will anticipate product and business needs before they arise, identify legal and regulatory risks across jurisdictions, and design practical solutions that enable the business to scale efficiently. You will establish launch processes, internal escalation paths, and cross-functional coordination mechanisms that allow Leo to enter new countries efficiently. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance legal rigor with business pragmatism — someone who finds creative solutions rather than simply identifying obstacles.
