Immediate opportunity to join an established and respected immigration law firm and fight the good fight for immigrants. The Law Offices of Carol L. Edward & Associates, P.S., is seeking a full-time associate attorney to join our Mount Vernon office. Our ideal candidate has Spanish fluency, great work habits, is a creative thinker and has a year or more experience in immigration. However, if you have volunteer experience related to immigration, are a quick learner, and willing to put in the extra effort required to learn immigration law, we are open to discussing this opportunity with you. Our firm works with all aspects of U.S. citizenship and immigration law and represents individuals and businesses who need assistance navigating the legal hurdles. We provide direct legal representation in immigration matters based on client needs. These cases will include, but are not limited to: advice and counsel, family-based petitions, DACA renewals, naturalization/citizenship, U visas, T visas, SIJS, removal defense, affirmative asylum, TPS, and other humanitarian-based immigration matters. This position requires a detail oriented and organized team player with the ability to work effectively and efficiently under time constraints. Available immediately, F/T, compensation DOE, benefits, flexible working conditions, and growth opportunities.
