Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will be handling up to 30 administrative hearings per month. What is unique in Social Security law is it is administrative with no opposing counsel. We work to prepare clients to be approved for a government benefit. You will NOT be doing legal research but you will be required to handle a variety of clients in a volume business. If you want to sit and read through case law, send out Interrogatories and litigate cases with opposing counsel for years, this is not the job for you. IF you want to be done at 5 pm, every day, have an excellent work life balance, and are good at multi tasking, then this IS the job for you. Salary is dependant on no previous Social Security law experience. IF you do have experience in actual Social Security disability claims, then the pay would be $125,000. Performance reviews are conducted at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. I offer raises and bonuses based on performance. If you have no experience with Social Security law, that is not an issue. You will be trained efficiently along with the required laws, statutes and procedural rules to be effective. Responsibilities Handle 30 telephonic administrative hearings including pre hearing calls/post hearing calls and briefs. Manage legal cases efficiently using case management software while maintaining meticulous records of all proceedings. Communicate proactively with clients to provide updates, gather information, and clarify legal options. Stay current on procedural law knowledge and statutory regulations relevant to diverse areas such as employment law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and workers' compensation law. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required. Knowledge of procedural laws and the ability to handle complex legal motions confidently. Effective negotiation skills coupled with strong client communication abilities. Experience with legal case management systems and familiarity with legal administrative processes is preferred.

$95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
