REAL ESTATE LITIGATION ASSOCIATE

(VANCOUVER, WA) Boutique law firm specializing in transactional and litigation work in the areas of real estate, land use, construction, homeowners' associations and business law seeks Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of relevant experience. The right person for the job is eager to succeed, hard-working, connects easily with others, and has a good sense of humor. Responsibilities

• Legal drafting, counsel, negotiation, and advocacy.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions, motion hearings, arbitrations, and trials (with guidance and mentorship).
• Communicate and collaborate with staff, attorneys, clients, and experts. Qualifications
• Must be admitted to practice in Washington state; Oregon license a plus.
• Preference for real estate and land use experience, however, general civil litigation experience is a good start.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Excel at research, analysis and problem-solving.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a deadline-driven, [sometimes] fast-paced environment.
