Responsibilities include working on our robust pipeline of sophisticated, innovative, and industry-leading litigation, including class actions, across a range of clients in Orrick's industry verticals of technology, finance, life sciences, and energy. Responsibilities The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation of complex civil litigation experience, and be a passionate, highly motivated, dynamic individual with exceptional interpersonal skills -- and above all a team player with the ability to work independently. Specific cyber/data/privacy litigation experience is highly valued. The candidate must possess strong academic credentials, excellent legal research abilities, and superb writing and oral communication skills. This position offers the candidate the opportunity to support a busy team with all aspects of complex disputes and litigation, including working directly with clients. The successful candidate will help manage all aspects of discovery (with the support of Orrick's industry-leading eDiscovery, Analytics, and Litigation Support team) and will be actively involved in deposition and hearing preparation, motion drafting, mediation statements, and other common civil litigation tasks. Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is between $350,000 and $450,000, depending on experience and bonus eligible hours expectations which are between 1,500 and 1,700 hours.
