Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Intake Specialist to join our legal support team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, efficiently gathering essential information to determine case eligibility and facilitate seamless communication between clients and attorneys. Your energetic approach and exceptional organizational skills will help streamline intake processes, ensuring that each client receives prompt, professional service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal support expertise while contributing to impactful legal work across diverse practice areas. Responsibilities Conduct thorough interviews with prospective clients to gather detailed case information across various legal fields such as estate planning, family law, personal injury, and more Assess initial case viability by evaluating client needs against firm specialties and legal criteria Maintain accurate records of client interactions, case details, and follow-up actions within legal case management software Communicate clearly and professionally with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence, ensuring confidentiality at all times Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to prioritize cases and facilitate smooth workflow processes Support administrative tasks including filing, proofreading, legal research, and document review to assist in case preparation Experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems like iManage or Westlaw Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Prior experience conducting client interviews and providing executive administrative support is highly desirable Join us in delivering exceptional legal support that empowers our attorneys and enhances client service. Pay:
