DIN), through its subsidiaries and franchisees, supports and operates restaurants under the Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar, IHOP, and Fuzzy's Taco Shop brands. For more information on Dine Brands, visit the Company's website located atwww.dinebrands.com. Job Location Type Hybrid - This position involves both litigation and transactional support. The Legal Specialist will be responsible for assisting attorneys with a wide range of corporate matters, primarily insurance claims management for workers' compensation, general liability, and employment practices liability. Moreover, the Legal Specialist will periodically assist with the preparation and production of franchise-related legal documents.Responsibilities:
Ensure timely reporting and claims management for workers' compensation, general liability, and employment practices liability Manage new claim intake/submissions for multiple regional locations Assist with investigations and preparation of material for use in legal and insurance proceedings Work with insurance adjusters and third-party administrators to effectively manage and close claims Prepare Loss Runs for management review Assist attorneys with due diligence process associated with review of transactions Provide lawyers with assistance in the preparation for and closing of various franchise-related transactions Assist practice area with reporting, tracking and data managementSkills & Requirements:
