Duties Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support ongoing cases and projects Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents, including contracts and internal policies Support litigation efforts by organizing case files, preparing summaries, and reviewing evidence documents Participate in fraud prevention and detection initiatives by analyzing patterns and compiling investigative reports Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal standards Collaborate with attorneys on contract negotiations and legal analysis tasks Maintain detailed records of research findings, draft versions, and case documentation Requirements Must be currently enrolled in a law school Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal drafts and reports Demonstrated analysis skills to interpret complex legal information effectively Prior paralegal or internship experience is a plus but not mandatory Familiarity with general counsel functions, contracts management, litigation processes, and fraud prevention strategies Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism This paid internship provides an engaging environment where you can sharpen your legal expertise while making meaningful contributions.
