Full-Time (contingent upon contract award) US Citizenship required due to supporting the Department of Homeland Security About the Role ASTA is hiring Mid-Level Analysts / Administrative Support Specialists to provide administrative, operational, and analytical support for DHS strategic planning and analysis. In this role, you'll help keep operations organized and information flowing in support of federal law enforcement missions. Because resources may shift across branches and projects as priorities change, this role is well suited to an adaptable professional who takes pride in reliable execution. What You'll Do Manage documents, records, and internal trackers, and support audit requirements. Coordinate scheduling, meetings, travel, and briefing materials. Maintain SharePoint content, including lists, libraries, and basic workflows. Compile and summarize data into charts, tables, and reports, and support ad hoc analytical requests. Provide flexible support across teams as priorities evolve. Qualifications Bachelor's, associate's, or professional certificate from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in administrative, operational, or business support roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and basic data reporting tools. Strong customer service skills in a professional environment. Must be able to obtain and retain a DHS background investigation. Preferred Qualifications Certifications in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, or data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI). Experience creating dashboards, data visualizations, or executive briefing materials. Prior experience supporting a federal agency, ideally in a law enforcement or DHS environment. Strong writing and editing skills and comfort managing competing priorities.
