In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across a wide range of litigation matters, ensuring smooth case progression and efficient management of legal processes. Your energetic approach and meticulous attention to detail will help facilitate effective communication, document handling, and case coordination. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of legal support, working closely with attorneys and clients to achieve successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist attorneys with all phases of civil and commercial litigation, including case preparation, document review, and trial support Manage legal case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accurate filing, data entry, and organization Conduct legal research utilizing AI and other research tools to support case strategies across diverse practice areas including construction law Draft and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, correspondence, and reports with precision and clarity Coordinate client communications by scheduling interviews, maintaining confidentiality, and providing exceptional client service Support project management tasks by tracking deadlines, court dates, and procedural requirements for multiple cases simultaneously Assist in the review of legal documents for procedural compliance and accuracy while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism Experience Proven paralegal experience or legal support experience in a busy law office environment Strong knowledge of procedural law across various practice areas including family law, securities law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and general & commercial litigation Familiarity with legal research tools such as AI is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with document management systems like iManage or similar platforms Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting Demonstrated experience in legal drafting, proofreading, and detailed document review processes Effective communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration Knowledge of AI is mandatory.
