Part-Time Bankruptcy Support Specialist Job Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and electronically file Chapter 7 bankruptcy petitions in Federal District Court Provide administrative and case management support for bankruptcy matters Communicate directly with clients to gather, organize, and verify required documentation Maintain accurate and well-organized case files (digital and physical) Track deadlines and ensure compliance with all applicable court rules and filing requirements Monitor case progress and assist with follow-up filings as needed Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and court personnel Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and case information

Minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with bankruptcy clients Experience supporting and filing bankruptcy petitions in Federal District Court Experience with electronic filing of Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases Strong understanding of bankruptcy procedures and documentation requirements Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently with limited supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills Paralegal certification (preferred but not required)
