•$21.00/hour Type of Position Temporary Position Time Status Part-Time Required Education High School Diploma or GED Required Related Experience Two years of administrative support preferably within unemployment claim management, records management, Human Resources, claims administration, or related experience. Required License/Registration/Certification Physical Requirements Regular sitting at a computer workstation. Frequent keyboarding and document review. Regular use of scanning and office equipment. Occasional lifting and movement of files and office materials. Ability to maintain onsite attendance and support document-handling activities.

20-30 hours per week Job Summary Join Our Team as a STEPS Administrative Support Associate I

•Unemployment Claims! Our Unemployment Administration team is seeking a motivated individual to provide critical support to our Unemployment department. This position plays an essential role in delivering high-quality service to employees, managers, and external partners, while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all interactions.

What You'll Do:

Serve as a primary point of contact for unemployment-related inquiries via phone and email. Draft clear and professional communications, including emails and letters, to provide guidance and information to both internal and external stakeholders. Enter and maintain data in SAP and other systems with a high degree of accuracy. Research and gather information to support unemployment claims, ensuring compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations. Reconcile quarterly unemployment billing from the Kentucky Department of Unemployment Insurance. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in unemployment accounts and take corrective actions as needed. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity. This position serves as the primary onsite administrative resource for claim intake, document management, records retention, and workflow support. It is designated as 100% onsite as the duties include: handling confidential personnel records, receiving physical unemployment correspondence, scanning documents, and supporting time-sensitive unemployment claims processes. Abilities What We're Looking For:

Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills. Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities. Familiarity with SAP or similar systems is a plus. Knowledge of unemployment insurance processes or HR policies is helpful but not required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel records. Ability to follow detailed procedures within established guidelines. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Associate degree preferred. Experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Payroll, unemployment claims administration, records management, compliance administration, or legal support preferred. Experience handling confidential employee information and working in time-sensitive administrative environments preferred.
